Extra-curricular

We are able to provide a variety of extra-curricular opportunities for the students. This year we will be offering:

  • Tennis coaching (before school, payment required)
  • Basketball (after school, payment required, date to be confirmed)
  • Choir
  • Prep/1/2 Learn to Swim
  • Year 3/4 Swimming stroke correction
  • Year 5/6 Surfing
  • Out of the Box-Prep/1/2, held every two years in Brisbane

Ingleside works closely with Currumbin Valley State School, Numinbah Valley State School and Springbrook State School and we hold combined:

  • Athletics Carnival at Pizzey Park
  • Swimming Carrnival at Nerang Aquatic Centre
  • RAW Challenge at Numinbah Valley
  • Science Day at Ingleside State School- held every second year

Staff provide activities during lunchtime. Children can chose an activity if they would like to attend. This year the following activities will be available:

  • Directed Drawing Club with Mr Curmi
  • Dance Club with Mrs Cameron
  • Art with Ms D
  • Mindfulness with Mrs O'Rourke (every second week)
  • Colouring Club with Mrs Ivers
  • Library with Mrs Marini
  • Running Club with Mr Curmi (before school)

 

Ingleside Camp Program

All students in Years 3/4/5 and 6 will participate in a 3 day/2 night camp each year. The camps are rotational so your child will have four different camps during their time at Ingleside. The camps are:

2019:  Year 3/4 Currumbin Community Farm Campus- Indigenous Focus

2019: Year 5/6 Camp Goodenough- Outdoor Challenges

2020: Year 3/4 Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre- Science

2020: Year 5/6 Tallebudgera Beach School- Water skills and leadership
